Hard Drive DOOM
Posted in Random on 07/14/2009 12:01 pm by AlixOn Friday afternoon, my Hard Drive at home died. Yep. Done. Cooked. Spent. It wasn’t entirely just for dieing sake’s fault though, apparently the Seagate Barracuda es.2 hard drives have a firmware issue and the failure rate jumped from anything normal to over 30% in the past 6 months. Yay. So I am in the process of doing some data recovery with Seagate. In the meantime, enjoy the unfinished visual update of the website and lack of posts :P
